Introduction about Faculty of Travel Management and Tour Guiding
Faculty of Travel Management and Tour Guiding has the following functions and duties:
The Faculty is an administrative management unit under the school, directly manage and organize the implementation of teaching, learning, scientific research, and other educational activities according to the school plans and regulations, including:
1. Managing lecturers, laborers, and students under the Faculty as decentralized by the Principal;
2. Making plan and organize the implementation of education and training activities according to the School's general training plan, including: 
 2.1. Building up and develop the assigned training program; compose learning and teaching documents and selecting course books according to the development orientation of the School;
2.2. Regularly checking programs, learning and teaching documents to build up the plans and revise programs as well as learning and teaching documents base on  researching  improvements and supplementation to regularly renovate training programs and curricula suitable for reality;
2.3. Doing the research and improving teaching and learning methods; develop and implement methods of examining and evaluating students' learning and training results; ensure the learners' Output standard response with the job standard set out by the businesses.
2.4. Managing teaching and learning quality within the scope managed by the Faculty such as specialized management, allocation of full-time lecturers, inviting visiting lecturers for the School training systems; inspect and statistic the teaching volume of lecturers of the Faculty; Implement teaching Statutes of lecturers;
2.5. Building up annual operation plan of the Faculty according to the orientation of the school;
2.6. Making plan and organizing the implementation of scientific research activities, cooperating with businesses related to the training majors and mobilizing the participation of enterprises in the training process of the Faculty;
2.7. Coordinating with Department of Training, Science Administration and International Collaboration to organize make-up and re-study courses; coordinate with Department of Assessment and Education Quality Assurance to organize tests and final exams for students;
3. Assigning lecturers of the faculty to work as homeroom teachers for classes; Assess and classify learning and training results of students under the Faculty through periodic reports of homeroom teachers according to semester and school year.; Propose some changes to improve the training quality;
4. Making training, retraining, internship, practice trip plan to improve qualifications for faculty lecturers; Identify and recommend excellent lecturers to the school to recruit full-time lecturers or invite visiting lecturers;
5. Carrying out payment procedures of teaching fees for visiting lecturers and overtime money for lecturers of the Faculty;
6. Managing and effectively using material facilities and training equipment according to regulations; propose, build up additional plans, maintain equipment of the unit;
7. Implementing the reporting regime as prescribed.
Article 3. Organizational structure
Faculty of Travel Management and Tour Guiding has two Divisions under the Faculty, including:
1. Tour guiding skills;
2. Travel management skills
Article 4. Functions and duties of the Division under the faculty
Division is a specialized unit under the Faculty, directly perform and take responsible for academics, training, scientific research activities and other specialized duties assigned by the school, including:
1. Implementing the content, quality, teaching and learning progress of a number of subjects in the training program and general teaching plan of the school and the Faculty;
2. Building up and improve the content of the subject, compile the learning and teaching documents, and reference materials related to the subject group assigned by the Principal and the Head of the Faculty;
3. Making plan and organize training activities (teaching, practice, practice trip, internship...) for the subjects managed by the Division;
4. Ensuring the implementation of the contents, programs, and schedule of teaching and learning for subjects as regulations;
5. Carrying out inspection and evaluation of teaching quality of lecturers in the Division. Organize the Division’s activities for the content of the training program to improve the training quality;
6. Implementing scientific research activities in the specialized fields of the Division;
7. Proposing training, retraining, internship and practice trip to foster and improve the qualifications of lecturers of the Division;
8. Taking the main responsibility for inviting visiting lecturers to teach subjects belong to the Division;
9. Managing facilities and equipment of the Division as assigned by the school and the Faculty;
10. Performing other duties as assigned by the Faculty and the School.
