THE DELEGATION OF GERMAN HOTEL AND RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION (DEHOGA) – SAXONY– ANHALT STATE, GERMANY VISITS AND WORKS WITH THE COLLEGE

Dated 08 October 2018, Danang Vocational Tourism College warmly welcomed President Michael Schmidt and members of the Delegation of the Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany to visit, work and discuss the possibility of future cooperation with the College.
Dated 08 October 2018, Danang Vocational Tourism College warmly welcomed President Michael Schmidt and members of the Delegation of the Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA) of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany to visit, work and discuss the possibility of future cooperation with the College.
 

DEHOGA Delegation met students of the College at theory and practical lessons. The meeting took place vigorously with an open exchange between the Delegation and lecturers and students in the lessons. DEHOGA Delegation highly appreciated lecturers’ teaching methods; confident and dynamic students; modern infrastructure and practice equipment which are in accordance with vocational tourism training.

After surveying the College's training capacity, the delegation worked with the College's Management Board and decided to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the college in the future regarding recruiting students to study in Germany as well as cooperating to give knowledge and experts exchange in the field of Hotel Management, Restaurant Management and Professional Cooking Techniques.

Schmidt Delegation’s leader was invited by the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training to Vietnam 2 years ago to transfer the German Vocational Training Program to the country and survey the appropriate Colleges eligible for participating in this Program. Visiting DVTC this time, he was surprised at the College's remarkable progress in the past two years. The number of students has tripled since 2016 to 1750 students. This time, as the Association President, Mr. Schmidt agreed to sign the MOU with the College, with the desire to refresh the students’ learning spirit, that the students show their passion for their careers as well as increase their professionalism./.
